Roar Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Roar

Roar

It's normal
Foes stand when one falls.
When fallen, ant carries leg of locust.

Hey, hey, hey
Keep a smile, no frown.
No way but only two; win or loss.

Be a man resilient.
Stand firm like mountain.
The beach sands are made of huge rocks.

Why you fear?
All the kings turn to dust.
Prophets died; Pharaohs and Tsars.

Do not tear.
Be a man and stand.
Be lion; scare them with a roar.

Nothing else!
Remain firm and no more.
In hardship, in distance you were born.

We have been displaced
By the floods and the wars, betrayals,
Entangled in net of politics for so long is our life.

Keep head up
Be strong as is ox.
Be the roar in mountain.
