We sit by the waters edge you and I
Listening to the roar of the surf
The white caps are so white
The sun is so yellow and perfect
the smell of moisture in the water
and the hint of saltwater in the air
Then the breeze blows your long golden hair
I am captivated and forced to stare
As you describe your life thus far
We gaze into each others eyes
Knowing instantly that we will be lovers.
