Robin Robbing/ Dispair Despair - Poem by Ray Mesa

You play at the playground to perfect your image
Your wings are store bought
You’ve crossed the line, the line of scrimmage
You’re flying right towards a cage, Your're about to be caught

You pushed me into a wall
You made me think you cared
It’s hard to say, Hard to Recall
Whether I’m a bleeding heart or you’re just a tease

You don’t love me, you don’t care You don’t care
Stop using me, Dispair Despair
I kissed you
I feel for you in a short little hour
I just can’t believe you
Are nothing more then a whore

What they say, Can it be true?
I can’t believe I kissed someone like you
Another whore to take my heart
Another mistake ripping me apart
Another human being claiming me as sane
Another emotion to claim as a new form of pain

So hell with it
I could care less
You are so full of shit
Let’s just lay this all to rest
