Romantic Junk Poem by Robert Brendan

Romantic Junk

Rating: 5.0

images of subways
strewn with graffiti
an old iron grate door
perched along a sidewalk
with a painted upraised
strip
inser homeless person here
negatives pasted onto
boxspring boards
made to appear as
fine
arts
degrees
of failure
angling upward
lustful of a grand urban
real and gritty portrait
of the artists
own desire
for dubious
credibility
to trade off against
their mallteen
ages.
