Lilibeth Sacmar Apat

Rose Jean

She’s the long haired teacher I first met in May
Never knew I’d meet her again two months later
Arriving in this school, my new assignment
This lively lady became my tour guide and friend.

People grow, people drift apart
We have our separate circle of friends as days went by
But I hope she knows how thankful am I
For the feeling of belongingness she afforded me that time.

The friendship has found its course, I’m glad
I learn things about her as time went past
A beautiful voice, a beautiful heart
A completely beautiful person inside out.
