Royal Nightmare Poem by Ima Ryma

Royal Nightmare

The little princess put boots on,
And went for a stroll in the swamp.
And while walking she came upon
A frog with crown on hopping romp.
He told her he was her prince, so
Back to the palace they both went,
And into the court hall did go,
To the king and queen to present.
But first they had a dialogue
That a kiss would make no change of
The fact the prince would stay a frog,
A small detail for two in love.

When the princess and frog were seen,
Jaw dropping from the king and queen.
