I
I submit before thee my Lord
This sacred bead of Rudraksha
That I carried everywhere with me
With all it's devotional sanctity
II
My pleasure is immense to surrender before thee
Everything that counts belonging to me
And to beg of you for my daily needs
What a bliss to get alms from thy hands!
III
Like the cool virgin waters of a forest stream
To a parched bird from the heart of desert
Let thy love gush into my yeaming soul
And calm down the burning resentment
IV
Hail me to thy sublime domination
Freeing me from the desolate rock prison
Which stands amid soaring ocean waves
That break into fathoming desperation
V
Rescue me from this gambling house
Where I went gaming tempted by the shills
Every time I loose I am enticed to the next for a gain
Unaware of my wallet being dwindled
The poet carries these chants a chain made of rudraksha beads under his lips to everywhere he goes! ! He submits before the Almighty with atmost devotion and acknowledges His sublime domination and supremacy! ! Good opening!

The poet helps us find he real meaning of prayer through this poem. Like each beads in rudraksha, the poet, through each stanza, is helping us take a step closer to god. Thanks for writing.May the count of beads never end...
