Running

Rating: 4.0
She's running through the forest following the screams she hears,
She figures out it's her own.
She drops to her knees blood-streaked tears.
She tells him she once loved him then he disappeared.
She follows an echo.
She follows the siren of her fears.
She ignored the warning bells.
She followed in his waking,
She thought he could be fair.
But who was she to swear he wouldn't break her.
He thought he could help her without leading her into despair.
But he turned to realize she was gone.
She faltered through his pain and fell through his fingers
