Symbol of Spirit's victory!
Flesh has obeyed, complied
With God, as on stage - Music,
As poem - with the Rhyme.

Feet soar like bird's wings.
Pointe shoes are stretched.
The first position severe? -
Russian ballet - will make!

Russia made publication
Only she could transmit
God's civilization -
Soul + body + feeling - THREE!

In Russian Bayadere
There are no earthly emotions
It's in Paris where they
fight with pioneer's devotion.

Our artists bead -
each his own melody.
Spirit with body meld
Over passions mess.

They don't look at each other,
Like on the scenes of Europe.
But hear deep voice of Father -
Super-spirit in music.

And therefore they exalt
Beyond, to after-life.
I see what happens After
In miniature time

Of three-hour sacrament.
This is the Russian ballet.
Like this in Russia - and
nowhere outside of Russia.

Russian Archetype

We are like lungs and heart
In Christ's Body - humanity.
As "Russia borders with God", -
Rilke said for immortality.

Russian soul's mystery
Is in that Russia breathes!
The limbs don't understand:
Closer to the light Spirit

Lungs clean interconnection
And the heart gives a cue
And imbues inspiration.
Russian ballet - has proved.

Since we all form the lungs,
Stately in all our breadth
We bring Spirit to others
So that the World could breath.
