Saga Of Sacrifice For Health Poem by G . S Bhavi

Saga Of Sacrifice For Health

Goodness in human beings
Naturally to be enquired by people
Who seek their help for
Their life and livings on the earth.

Hence one day, 'Who is a good doctor? '
Was asked to the greatest eminent physician
His name, William Arthur Cecil of Miraj.

He replied that good doctor is he
Who looks not at the purse of patients
Or tells them mere soothing words
On his ailment of diseases and morbidus

But a good doctor is always upright
In his most virtuous profession
Like the God is he to save his patient's life
From the danger of dreadful death.

He gives more importance to life of patients
Than to pelf for his luxurious family
He thinks and worries more of
Ailing patients rather than
His selfish pleasures and greed

Such good doctors are rare
They think always seriously
'To serve ailing humanity is
To worship glorifying God'
Is the aim of their life and livings.

In their pure and prime profession
They are genius in the diagnosis
And prescribing proper medicine
To cure all kinds of fatal diseases

And they bestow on their patients
Wholesome health and sound mind
To live a heavenly happiness
In the mortal life on the globe

Lo! here is a Saga for doctors
Who had and have sacrificed
Their lives for the treatment
Of moaning and desperate Mankind.
