Sahib And Gente

Rating: 5.0
The truth shall be told on Sunday
Whenever it hits the sun is its sunny day
Every day is sunny somehow
In a country where darkness gives as much light as to wow
Gente that know but choose to act like they not at all know
When upon them their leaders' lies flow
Like water for fire quenching pours
Out of the tanker the fire brigadier blows
They find away anyway to make everyday sunny days
Today is a Sunday

It'll keep you and us safe they lied
Stay at home they told
We'll bring you palliatives they fooled
Use your hand cleanser
And mask yourself too maybe forever
But turn around and say
It all won't keep you completely safe anyway
But do it anyway
They locked them up
Like their time was up
And in their palms to jail or to bail
But the gates of hell didn't prevail

And they say it'll be the new order
Gente know them that give many an order
Show them facades and camouflage
But laugh them to scorn
One that hits like a scourge
Their lives to them like pack of cards that could be used for collage
When behind in their mess the wines into glasses they turn
Leave them gente they say
What do they ever know anyway

Soon they'll know they know
All they didn't know they know

And here comes the vaccines
Ones they in their scale of preferences
Let go priorities like power supply for
And spent generational wealth on
Will it unmask us the gente ask some more
And keep us from fear and from not shaking and hugging again
No, or we're not sure they say
So why vaccinate us we pray
This cockroach is really not on the tray

Live and let's live Sahib
Let the foreign man go with his hilarious theories while we face our herb
His body is not same strength as ours
This is where color speaks volumes
We must hear and we must see
What dies him is to us like drawing water from a sea
With just a proboscis can't you see
Why then quarantine us on the condition that he is
Blood is thicker than blood where even weather draws the boundaries

Still gente cries

Live and let me live Sahib
Do yours and chop and go
Where I don't even get to see from your table the scrumps to scrub
Don't dare close my channels because you want more ego
As much as all that you siphon brings you
Fear your fear and leave me to fear my own fear
Never let your greed bring rains against my dew
Our fears are different as our dies are
For when a hungry man picks the placards to show himself insane
The reverse will be the case of our dies and each's fear
Sane, or insane

But it's okay anyway Sahib
We see the matter is calming now like drizzles after the storm
Yet we are all not dead and never will be Sahib
So enough of the hideous and do not form
Come and state it openly what we already know and are doing
That the masking had been a scam like we all know
That you failed us like always it's your undoing
For failing to research and following in the lies
But we can mask or unmask at our own risk
We will still say it's okay and move on like always
