Sailor Boy Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Sailor Boy

Rating: 5.0

Fearless sailor boy, the wide open seas are calling,
As the whistles of thrushes, when no one is talking.
Royal destiny and daring, has led you here this day,
And deep thirst for adventure, will sweep you away!

Always your heart has known, one day you'd set sail,
Into the golden horizon, where contentment prevails;
But the tears you leave behind, has caused you sighs,
Someday you'll be returning, as true love never dies!

True love for the sea or one he left behind! Circumvent waves will eventually return him home, all the wiser and hopefully richer for his adventure. A true sea-faring write!

A true seafaring adventurous write! He will return a better man for his travels, and hopefully wealthier too!
