Saint Mary's Faith! Poem by Denis Martindale

If not for Mary's act of faith, who knows where we would be?
Agreeing to the gift God gave! Amazing grace to see.
Agreeing to the prophecies of centuries ago.
God's Son would come to grant us peace. Forgiveness to bestow!
Yes, she was there at Calvary with Christ's disciple John
And witnessed this calamity, this horror going on.
Christ suffered all these things because God meant for Him to bleed.
God's Son and hers nailed to His Cross! The Cross of Christ, indeed.

Yes, Mary witnessed destiny fulfilled before her eyes.
Psalm 22 was history. His story if Christ dies.
Passover Lamb! Christ sacrificed like John the Baptist said.
Messiah Jesus, called the Christ, must still rise from the dead!
Christ laid His life down for His friend and Mother Mary, too.
Each Easter proves it's not the end! Christ lives! For me, and you!
Amazing grace from Heaven's Throne, God's blessings to allow.
For those who trust in Christ alone. God's Royal Pardon now!
