Salam Hossein Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Salam Hossein

Salam Hossein

Lucky is the blind
-to the world and others
-knowing less, wanting much.

Such person and people
-complain, exclaim to deserve.

Truly, they are bad and too dumb!

Imagine a man with no dinner
-in a good and fancy restaurant
-looking at a neighbor at the bar;
-keeps boiling like garlic in a jar
-of acid in the sun…

"Looking at those insides…"
"What the hell…they…they are? "

He never sees Hussein, nor Salam
- (The two men are married
-not enough is the time for wives, kids!)

First's wife has tumors in breasts
-she is sick with cancer…

The latter goes in-out
-of the house, hospital.

Second's wife can "Goodbye, "
-to this world and the life
-liquid has amassed in her lung.

Lucky is, possibly, such blind
-with his head ostrich's and in sand
-or same as partridge with snow.

They reflect an ant on a fallen leaf
-with the leaf on running stream
-in a small brook, flowing;
-and ant shouts warns:
- "The world is on flood! "
