Salt And Poem by Stephen Gregory

Salt And

Swell as it may be
To see you
Long as it may take
To get there

I wonder

Slowly I take it in
Yesterdays Beatles
To more than
No more

Hey John

There’s never been a sight
That made you as uncomfortable as the
Snow on a corner that
Never made it higher
Than gutters
Resembling avenues

So let’s pretend that
Afternoons are not in climate
Nothing ever was

If sue knew you
Than that was enough
For adding on

Around the corner
Could be
Maybe
Or just feed me
