Salvation Came From Heaven
Salvation came from Heaven
God's grace existed on High
Before there ever was an earth
God's gifting was supplied
And for sins exoneration
The perfect Sacrifice
The sinless...spotless...Lamb of God
In the person of Jesus Christ
The angels knew beforehand
The song they were to sing
Glory to God in the Highest
As the earth received her King
With hallowed adoration
The shepherds harkened to
To see the place where the Christ child lay
As the Angel's had led them to do
When they saw the virgin born baby
That joy they could not contain
But off they went rejoicing
The message to proclaim
With angelic confirmation
They were glorifying and praising God
For all that was told them had come to pass
Now this is the Word of the Lord
Their faith had found its resting place
With its edifice being a manger
For there before them lay the Christ child
To whom sorrow was no stranger
From cradle...to crown...to Cross...to death
For our sin He was beholden
Look and live my brother live
Behold the Lamb and behold Him!
Hallelujah what a Saviour!
