Same Spirit Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Same Spirit

Same spirit

I could not open lips
Or skip
An attention
For good relation

I could read
In his eyes some kind of readiness
To fall for the love and believe
It was an urge to live together

But what went wrong?
He disappeared among crowd
I had no word
I just returned to work

I remained virgin
Throughout the life to be seen
In the same spirit
Always ready to greet

I did not regret
But it remained as fate
That did not allow us to be one entity
I never prayed any more to an almighty

Same Spirit
