Sands Of Time Poem by Eva Mae Witt

Sands Of Time

Rating: 5.0

Sands of Time

Deep into the sands of time, I saw myself walking along the beach
The many scenes which flashed through the scenic sky
Had woven a path right before my viewing eyes
A lightened untrodden footprint molded into the sands

Were graced with a whitened set of holiness as if they were
Touched by an angel from the highest god from up above.
With this thought, it started to bother me for I noticed
As I walked among many low times in my life;

I had suffered many a time through hardships to
Which I can never verbally say out loud.

Oh, my Lord, I saw two sets of footprints
At this moment in time as I walkthrough
the golden sands of time I only see one set of footprints
and a deep imprint embedded into my logical mind.
