Santa Suspense Poem by David Darbyshire

Santa Suspense

Rating: 5.0

Santa's on his Way
All the kids would Pray
That Santa had in his Bag
Things to make them Glad

John, Marry and Sue
Didn't know what to Do
They prayed all Day
But to there Dismay
There still was an empty Shoe?

Now Santa was on his Way
He was in a little Disarray
Santa was smelling of Gin
Which he shouldn't have Bin
And seamed to have lost his Way

Santa Pulled on the Raines
Started to use his Brains
Santa turned Around,
Went back to John, Sue and Marry
With so many Toys he could not Carrie

Now that Shoe is Full, as can Be
And for Santa, Milk and a Cookie
At the end of the Day
Kids, 'Don't stop to Pray'
Santa's on his Way...............
