Sapphire Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

Sapphire

Rating: 5.0

Deep in his eyes
I was swimming,
with the jewels of my life,
blue and blue.

Dreams faced my memory
as singing.
Veiled imagery,
cool ebbing, cool.

Lost far in my mind
the beginning
of timelessness
drifting and drifting.

The blue that I see
remains constant
to me.
Thrilling so thrilling.

Sally uses lots of literary devices to create a rich spell binding experience that has experiential rhythm.
