മനുഷ്യന്റെ കേൾവിക്കും കാഴ്ചക്കുമപ്പുറത്തേക്ക്
എന്റെ ശരീരം പോയിക്കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ, ഇപ്പോഴെൻ ശരീരം
ഉണരുകയും സഹിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നെങ്കിലും
അപ്പോഴത് ഒരിക്കലും ഉണരാത്ത ഉറക്കത്തിലായിരിക്കും,
കഷ്ടം, ഇനിയൊരിക്കലും ഉറക്കമില്ലാത്ത
ബലഹീന, മെന്നാൽ അമരമാം എന്നാത്മാവ്
പൊട്ടിത്തെറിയിൽ മുന്നോട്ട് പറക്കുമൊരില,
തീരത്തൊരിക്കലും എത്താനാവാത്ത ഒരു തിര.
