ഏകാന്തത്തിലാകുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ സന്തോഷിക്കേണ്ടതാണ്
ഒടിഞ്ഞ ചിറകുകളിൽ മുടന്തിനടക്കും മണിക്കൂറുകളിലും!
ദാഹാർത്തമായ ഒരു ശരീരം, ക്ഷീണിതയായ ഒരു ഹൃദയം
ലോകസ്ഥിതിവസ്തുവിഷയങ്ങളാൽ മാറ്റമില്ലാത്ത നീറ്റലും.
ഹേമന്തരാവിലെ കൊള്ളിമീൻ പോലെ
സുന്ദരവും പ്രകാശഭരിതവുമായ
രഹസ്യമയവും ഹ്രസ്വവും ആയ
ഒരൊറ്റ ഗാനം രചിക്കാൻ എനിക്കു കഴിഞ്ഞെങ്കിൽ!
