Satisfied Poem by Ace Of Black Hearts

Satisfied

Breath in then out.
Passion always in doubt.
A reason to live.
A reason to love.
A heart meant to burn.
Meant to turn.
Lost in the moment.
Why does it seem like there is never enough time left.
Feeling bereft.
Anxious and angry.
Full of so much regret.
That's not me.
That's not who I see when I look in the mirror.
Truly satisfied, truly happy.
Age has done right by me.
Even if hasn't always been so easy.
I wouldn't want relive any of it any other way.
Second chances are best served in the present.
Not a window into the past.
Learn live and move on.
No plans for the future, no plans to change anyone including myself.
If my love is not enough.
Then you come to wrong place.
All wish for is a happy quite life.
No more, no less.
And that boat leaves with or without you.
Company and companionship is always nice.
But I'm not chasing or hunting for the place where the stars collide.
And with this said I yet again look for that perfect pillow to rest my head.
