Saturday Evening Winding Down With You - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Sweet sweet Kira it's been a long and tiring day
and how now returning from a long trip
to the crowded store I would love to sit
down for a few minutes holding each other
relaxing before I got up to make us dinner.
I so very much want a Saturday evening
winding down with my sweet beautiful lady
and rest our aching bodies and enjoy each others company.
How I wish my sweet lady I could spend
this Saturday evening winding down holding you closely
while for a little while watching a bit more
College Football which is in the large part
in it's last major weekend of the regular season.
A Saturday evening to cook you dinner
and wind down relaxing sitting together
and through the night watching movies and reading together.
A relaxing Saturday night winding down
and so lovingly holding each other
feeling so very safe and so very peaceful.
Sweet sweet Kira I so deeply love and miss you
and as I go through this evening I'll
be thinking of you and sending sweet warming and loving kisses
to let you know that you are the most important,
to let you know that your Michael will always
stick by you and support you in true loving passion.
I'll be dreaming of and sharing with you
this dream of a sweet Saturday evening with you relaxing
because you are my Angel and the most amazing woman
that drives this man and gives him reason to keep going.
