Save Me Please Poem by beautiful imperfection

Save Me Please

I'm sorry, but I can't be
your princess anymore,
I try to be perfect
yet you still ask for more.
The truth is I'n not perfect
even though I try to be,
I'm broken inside
but this you don't see.
What happened to us?
We used to be friends,
What can I do
to make amends?
I will always love you
no matter how old,
but to call me your princess
would really be quite bold.
For I'm not a princess
and I'm not a perfect girl,
I'm just a well-wishing daughter
whose spirits have curled.
Someone please save me
take away my tears,
I've been forced to hide them
throughout the years.
Someone please mend
my broken heart
instead of piercing it
with a thousand darts.
Someone save me...
please...
someone save me...
from these stings...

No magic answers he probably isn't a real Prince either so don't let it bug you.
