Save Me Somehow (Recommended) Poem by Ridah Ellahi

Save Me Somehow (Recommended)

I see you,
And my heart beats hard against my chest.
I look at you,
Your deep eyes make me forget the rest.

Your one gentle touch,
Brings back memories of my past.
I try to hold on to those times,
But the flash by very fast.

I thought I was over you,
Thought now you can’t make my heart beat.
But I realize the intensity is still there,
I can still feel the heat.

I am longing for your kiss,
I am longing for your touch.
My tears scream out to you.
Oh, I miss you so much.

I beg for you to hold me tight,
Hold me close to you.
I am breaking into pieces,
Demolishing for you.

You promised to hold me,
So hold me now.
You promised to save me,
Just save me somehow.
