Save Those Tears For Another Dream Poem by Ayni Poet

Save Those Tears For Another Dream

A lonely shore cries on a grey night,
Under the Moon's ruthless shadows,
Upset about the cold winds that shred its body,
And the frozen sea which talks no more.

Summer days are far and no hope is left,
Heat and harmony are veiled in torment,
He only wishes for a change, a spark,
But nothing has shifted in a long time.

Doubtful and silent he sits by the water's side,
Trying to fall asleep to escape the misery,
And while he dives into thick dreams,
Never returns to the thorns of samsaric life.
