Scale Beauty Size Disaster Models Poem by Terence George Craddock

Scale Beauty Size Disaster Models

Rating: 5.0

perceive difference
between a ripple
a friendly pulse wave
a horrifying tsunami
is merely mass momentum scale
ripples are pattern beautiful
waves moon pull time tidal
a tsunami death debris lethal

as
a snowball
thrown
rolling down
snow covered
slopes
gave birth
to an avalanche

as
an earthquake
shocks
passive land
shaking
loose
earth fault
line

hidden
sleeping
gave
birth
to sudden
shockwave
slip
landslide

so gathering
mind stirring
momentum words
soul echoing
writer poets
inner voice
gave creativity birth
to tsunami flood tides

a grain of sand
a tiny smooth peeble
a small rough rock
a road blocking boulder
size scale mass weight
motion mass force speed
cause effect quantifiable ratios
nature change scales in magnitude levels
