Scared Poem by Leanna Page Markgraf

Scared

Be man enough to fight your battles. Be respectful and let me go.
This is not the love it was
How could you be so low?
You beat me down
and now have my heart in your hands
Laughing at my pain
is something I
will never understand.
You left me so weak
when I made you strong.
Was this the plan
To torture me all along?
Say what you want
But do not tell me you cared.
My threats now are promises
If I were you I would be scared
