The scent of a baby,
Rids all pain
It's just authentic n' genuine
Worth distinctly writing home about
With envisions of future define
Doesn't get lost in all the chaos
The days of burden still forthcoming
So take a whiff and make it linger
Testify bare existence while bluffing
The scent of a baby,
Opens eyes
But makes us do things we've never done
First rouses us then makes us wiser
Teaches us lessons at first missed then
No one said real life would be easy
You can't hand back closed invitations
In weary years, though, key amendments
That will put smiles on clear relations
The scent of a baby,
Stimulates
So just take it easy and recline
Why question if you're singin' in key
Trust yourself, everything will be fine
