Science And Philosophy Poem by Asit Kumar Sanyal

At the age of 64
I understood
philosophy and science
are interlinked.

Science is what we know
and philosophy what we don't know
that is the reason
science is followed by philosophy.

Where science stops
or closes it's door
from there
philosophy starts.

In practical life we see it often
when hospital says
take your patient and go home
medicines not responding at all.

Then we go to the temple
stand in front of god or goddess
in folded hands
and pray for his/her life.
