Science - Suspended Animation Poem by Paul Warren

Science - Suspended Animation

I'm drifting as light as a feather
Floating along without tether
It's a beautiful sun and warm
No care in the world is the norm
Then I'm sitting in my car
Driving a beach road so far
It's a sea of faces and they are smiling
As I find it all now so beguiling
And it's starting again without bother
I'm drifting as light as a feather......

Sounds quite beautiful but what if instead of a wistful dream you had a nghtmare that lasted years.- Suspended animation may not be such a panacea. An intriguing subject and poem.
