Sea Of Moonlight Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Sea Of Moonlight

Under the sea of moonlight we walk
The river flows with city lights
Summer is coming home
Her lilacs fade, roses grow

Thorns in the human soul
Torn by loves twists and turns
Stories of redemption
Stories of tragedy

Ancient players take the stage
Confined by fables of heroes
War is in the soul
Define your dreams before the winter

Let the wind console
Let the green fields comfort
Great trees shrine the moment
Islands dance in mystic rivers

Lovers come down from the hills
Silent stars listen
We walk toward eternity
Her smile is a sea of moonlight
