Sea Weather I Saw The Wreaths Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Sea Weather I Saw The Wreaths

Sea weather I saw the wreaths for the drowned.
Round me he clutches of the winds abound.
Nay gales.

Yet verses in my heart I sing.
The drowned how many over centuries
And ships at sea-bottom.

Here not a plain of quiet.
But tossed here and there without cessation
Quiet comes here solely from the
Auto-cancellation of the storm's diet.

The appetite of Wrath subsides not.

But Wrath cancels hurtling Wrath to resignation.
