(true tale)
To leave them on sand was gullible,
his little bag of chips,
believing the snack invulnerable
to sea-bird's horny lips.
The gull hovered nigh, unflappable,
and swooped to snatch its loot.
The boy gave a chase, quite clappable –
in honesty, a hoot.
