Searching For The Traces Of Indian Buddhist And Vedanta In Leonard Cohen, At Least His Affinity With

We do not know
If he was under Indian thought and traditin or not,
A Canadian singer-songwriter, a musician, a composer
A concert-giver performing worldwide,
But his India-connections, how to establish it
As for his relations wih the Buddhist Zen and Vedanta gurus
And their centres and ashramas
As after financial loss and crisis, undergoing depression
He found peace in silence and repose
And meditation,
Came to India to understand it not newly, but to meet,
To Bombay keeping a very low profile
Meeting all types of people
Which knew we it not, felt it not
And he crisscrossed it our society
Meeting the Bombay men,
The chaiwallahs, the automen, the hotel staff,
The cleaners, the sweepers and it all.
