Seeds Poem by soren Barrett

Seeds

Wild oats sown, now grown, what harvest do I expect?
sprouted lies a field of flies discarded respect
A word spoken now broken chiseled crack in minds wall
revealing a token now awoken casting dark shadows over all
A wind blew o'er heart blue abandoned on empty sea
No land in sight of a feathers flight the reaper laughs with glee
Blind light bleeds o'er fertile seeds on hard ground thrown
Darkness revealed the shield of what I never dared to own
Melting clouds, dissolves torn shrouds new born sun blazing bright
Lull in the storm a path to transform, daybreak's after night
