Seeing Eye Cat Poem by Ima Ryma

Seeing Eye Cat

I have a pair of glasses that
I wear for my far sightedness.
In my savannah habitat
I'm a much better hunter, yes.
Lots of prey sightings I had missed
Because I could not see too well.
I found a good optometrist,
And now at seeing I excel.
My optometrist visits me
For regular checkups I need.
A grateful lion I do be
To get such good service indeed.

My optometrist is one who
I have promised never to chew.
