When charmed and captivated
By our conversations,
Our words of wit and wisdom,
Like birds, fly quickly,
And it shall come to pass
When creating new ideas,
That we remember
Man's spoken expressions,
Suddenly, with smiles of wonder,
As our memories flit to and fro,
There, among life's legacies
And the treasures of long ago.
