Selene Rises Poem by Paul Brookes

Selene Rises

moon in glory rose,
white fabled reflected light.
her pock marked face bright
her cheeks red tinged
she flexed her muscle
moving the seas
ebb and flow,
ebb and flow.

'Selene In Greek mythology, Selene is the goddess of the Moon.' Andy, I liked this little write by you. I wish I COULD be so powerful, ....BUT it seems Selene is not 'the moon', so i'm not sure if Selene does the tide-making. bri ;)
