Self Choice Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Self Choice

Self choice

No one
But only one
That you
And only one to be true

No I shall not
And have not thought
To be over owed
Or swayed

I had many other lust men
Who were searching for one?
I refused to be drawn
And stood alone

Since you were chosen
As partner of heaven
I wished to be owned by a person
Who was to be one with reasons?

Many might have experienced same
And gone with the individual claim
But real beauty lies with the self choice
Who looks after real promises?
