I have fought my battles and overcame them all,
But the current task is not something small.
It encompasses all of me.
It stretches as far as the eye can see.
On the outside I smile, but I don’t take life as a joke.
The pressure of this world weight me down…Oh heavy is my yolk.
An Invisible force continually pulls me back.
I stand here afraid when I know I should attack.
How can I tell you about the light when I refuse to step out?
I hide in my cave encompassed by the darkness of Self-Doubt.
