Self-love

Self-love is no love
if you sincerely believe
it is called selfishness
and also termed as cunningness
if one lives for self
his life is like wealth hidden in the shelf
it has no welfare use
and refused to others except self
if someone says" I am self and creator"
he needs some mentor
as he has nothing in his hand
and he can't prevent his end
if "self' enters the mind
you may find
the pride and arrogance
and the man acts with a changed appearance
once you think in this manner
take it for granted that fall in imminent here
you shall be isolated forever
and you can't transform later
if you live for self and enjoy
it is really no joy
even dogs spend life in the street
everybody runs after with the stick and not greeted

There is a difference between self love and selfishness. Self love is being in awarenss of love within oneself. If you do not have money you cannot donate it to others. Same is love. If you do not have love in your heart you cannot share love with others. In otherwards, without love you cannot express your love for others.Self love is love in your heart whereas selfishness is love in your head. There is a difference. Anand kumar, Chennai, Sep 13,2020
