Selfish Poem by Melanie Emikohe

Selfish

Rating: 5.0

Guilt-free
my apologies in advance to all
no reservations
I could bubble in a scalding pot with you!

Passion is beautiful
I shall follow it to doom.

It can't be postponed.
"Strike when the iron's hot".
You are my addiction.
I refuse intervention.

I'm not the one who dies
with unfulfilled thoughts.
I am baddest because it hit me the hardest.

Don't cower under the stacks.
I am shameless dear.

Well conceived and nicely brought forth with conviction. A beautiful creation. Thanks for sharing Melanie and do remain enriched.
