Selfish Soul Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Selfish Soul

Rating: 5.0

I think of selfish soul
Totally impure and but smell no foul
I put self in that position
Even though I believe in no superstition

I am no different
From others at present
Believe in easy pry
An shamelessly try

I too want to be millionaire
Where others fail or dare
I have wicked ideas
But have no choice

I will not hesitate to sacrifice
Any one for the need to suffice
I know money matters
How it comes is no concern for others!

If you stand in line
As honest person to define
People will push you aside
Jump over horse and ride

If they can do if for gain
Why should I not do it without pain?
Grab whatever I can in return
Life may shine later on in turn

Such is mentality of normal man
Life is spent with happiness as human
Limited object in life with family members
Hardly anything to forget than to remember
