Self-Portrait Poem by Nate Tulay

Self-Portrait

Rating: 5.0

Ole soul, who are you, and where are you
from? Ole soul, what I mean is, what are
you? An African soul, a schizophrenic
philosopher, a natural poet, a starry lover,
a self-aware sinner, an Egyptian Ka, an
Egyptian Ka, an Egyptian Ka, an upright
politician, an objective mind, an art fiend,
a sleeping fool, an awaken conscience, a
Liberian Zogo, a logical scientist, a
creative theorist, an outcast, a glitch, a
glitch, a glitch? Ole' soul, what are you,
what are you, what are you?

'ka, in ancient Egyptian religion, with the ba and the akh, a principal aspect of the soul of a human being or of a god. The exact significance of the ka remains a matter of controversy, '

It seems to me that Nate got the 'Egyptian Ka'-hiccups in his 5th and 6th lines!
