Startalk Poem by Nate Tulay

Startalk

Rating: 4.8

Should I honor thee with your pen,
or remind you of who you still are,
now that wisdom has opened the eyes
of men, and clothed them with self-same
thoughts; old friend, should I scar you with
our love, and remind you of all of the lives
you cannot remember, now that heaven has
kissed and showed me images of some of
the things that exist beyond the physical plane?
If yes, schizophrenia does humble your too flawed
and scientific mind.

I love the meanings hidden behind some of your words. That's my favorite thing about poetry. You can say things in code that only people you target it to will get. even though sometimes it happens without you doing that: P

This is quite interesting to read: 'should I scar you with our love, and remind you of all of the lives you cannot remember, now that heaven has kissed and showed me images of some of the things that exist beyond the physical plane? ' bri ;)

the poem is designed to poke the too logical and scientific mind to think beyond the physical plane of existence... and to search about schizophrenia and how it affects the mind... lol

This is the first line I can see on this poem's page. More trouble on P-H! ! : 'now that wisdom has opened the eyes'
