Sensation Poem by Lance Uppercutt

Sensation

Today my heart heard the song of a bird
Drowning my daily din of dirge
Warming the winter my soul tends to sing
Transforming grey cold into rosy red spring.

So I leaned in to touch just for a taste
And feeling so warm bestowed by its grace
When I was hit with a beautiful sensation
Burned by the fire of a beautiful inspiration.

Lance Uppercut I loved this poem as well, normally I don't like we'll written poems, but this one like the bird you saw just flew into my consciousness and perched onto my being.
