Sensitive To Detail Poem by Lauren Coles

Sensitive To Detail

It is easy to see a horse or touch one for a sighted person,
You have to tell the blinded person where to step,
You have to first get the horse out of the stable and in a good hearing distance,
The horse will whinny loud so it can be easily heard,
Horses get muddy and might need a bath,
You have to tell the person where to place their hand,
Higher or lower,
Horses get scared by sudden movement or noise.
So calm voices will do.
