Take Me With You Poem by Lauren Coles

Take Me With You

Rating: 5.0

I'm holding on for dear life,
I just sit here in my chair flying a kite,
People get to run around,
I just want to feel the wind in my face and hair,
I'm flying a kite shaped like a butterfly,
Just for a moment I want to have the freedom that a butterfly has,
You don't know what you have until it is gone.
But I have been this way all my life.

Such a remarkable poem! Fills the soul, every word engraves in the heart. Unforgettable from top to end. Painfully beautiful, not one word will be forgot
